New Braunfels, TX · 2018-10-18 · from the WORLDHUMMAP archive
Low hum, sometimes pulsating, sometimes not. It is very loud. It sounds like a propeller airplane way off in the distance, but it doesnt go away. Or an 18-wheeler on a busy freeway, but were probably 8 miles away from a freeway and down a country road. Im also extremely sensitive to smells. Like Starbucks coffee makes me sick, but the smell of a skunk doesnt bother me. I can hear the sound of a TV being on even if the source is turned off (Like the DirecTV box being turned off, but the TV is still on and dark). I have to go to sleep at night with the TV turned on because of the hum, but I can still hear/feel it when the TV is on. There is nothing in this house that could be causing it...no AC unit, no water heater, not the fridge. When I go outside, I dont hear it. If it were freeway noise from the highway 8-10 miles away, then I would hear it outside, too.
