A triangle shape in Loir-et-Cher, France
Recent report of an old observation made on July 23, 1965, around 6 p.m. A metallic-looking triangular object is motionless in the sky and strongly reflects sunlight.
This case of observation by multiple witnesses of a luminous fixed object in the evening sky has all the characteristics of a tetrahedral stratospheric weather balloon.
The luminous and metallic appearance is characteristic, the apparent motionlessness is not rare, their very high altitude (up to 40 km) makes movements appear very slow, and winds at that altitude are highly variable.
