On December 16, 2014, at around 2:00–2:15 a.m., a witness's attention was drawn to a bright light outside. Going to his terrace, he saw an oval object, golden yellow in color, moving slowly and silently above the treetops in front of his house. One photograph was taken during the observation, which lasted between 5 and 10 minutes. The object disappeared at high speed, going back up vertically.
The image presented as the photo taken by the witness turned out to be a cropped version of a photograph taken in 1981 by a Mexican photographer named Carloz Diaz (see the full photograph on "1981 the beginning of contact"). The witness remained evasive during requests for information, providing no details and no clear answers to the questions asked (see the investigation notes).
