Moving in formation in Paris, France

On May 13, 2015 at 8:40 a.m., a motorist on the Paris ring road is intrigued by the presence in the sky of an oblong, luminous and white object. Through the windshield he takes three photographs. The UAP seems motionless then barely moves. The witness loses sight of it when leaving the ring road. Only one testimony is collected. The strangeness of this case is low: it is mainly caused by the perception of the UAP being motionless. The testimony is fairly consistent, with enough data provided by the witness and usable. Several photographs of the UAP were taken and could be used for analysis (see the investigation report). The appearance of the UAP and its slow or even "motionless" movement noted by the witness are typical of airliners and their condensation trail observed at altitude at the moment when they are already lit by the rising or setting sun, not yet visible from the ground. The three photographs were taken by the witness at 08:42'37'', 08:42'48'' and 08:42'54'', that is, at the exact moment of sunrise. Depending on the local meteorological conditions at the altitude at which the aircraft in question is located, the formation of a condensation trail occurs or not. If it is present, it may also not be distinguished as such by the witness, due to a combined effect of distance and perspective. The witness then assimilates the trail as a single object, the aircraft itself possibly not being visible. This condensation trail can dissipate quickly behind the aircraft in some places and take time in others along the same trajectory, which explains here the duration of the observation over more than 10 minutes (which was not that of the aircraft, but that of a piece of trail that was more persistent). This case is to be classified as "A" as observation of an aircraft and its condensation trail.
