On Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at around 8:30 PM, a couple out for a walk is surprised to observe in the clear sky four steady lights of a pale orange color evoking a dark trapezoidal shape. These lights move silently at a constant speed on a straight trajectory. The witness looks away but the object will have disappeared when he tries to see it again. Only one testimony was collected.
The observation of orange lights flying silently, horizontally, in the same direction as the wind, clearly evokes Thai lanterns probably released at the end of a celebration. It is common to perceive a dark shape when observing several lights moving together (Gestalt effect).
