A dark figure in Vaucluse, France
In the night of June 27 to 28, 2005, at around 4:15 a.m., a witness observed the fairly slow passage of a dark shape resembling a boomerang, with no lights or apparent beacons, and totally silent. The observation lasted about 8 to 10 seconds.
5 to 10 minutes after this observation, the witness stated that banks of fog as well as a fairly strong breeze appeared.
No other testimony about this phenomenon was collected.
Although confusion with an aircraft cannot be ruled out, no other hypothesis could be validated due to lack of information.
