On January 14, 2012 at around 9:35 PM, a witness, on their balcony on the fifth floor, is intrigued by 3 small white luminous points outlining a dark triangular mass. No noise is heard during the very rapid South-North passage. The observation suggests an airplane, with its approach lights on. The (primary) radar track of aircraft that flew over the area at that time shows only one airliner at high altitude at 9:48 PM (7 minutes before the estimated time of the observation, a few km west of the vertical of Saint-Quentin), but this track is from North to South, while the observation is the opposite. The observation therefore does not correspond to the aircraft detected by radar. Due to the uniqueness of the testimony, this case is estimated to be weakly consistent; due to the regular and linear movement of the three luminous points of the object, this case is considered slightly strange; it is classified "C" for lack of information. Further investigation would hardly yield additional information.
