On October 1, 2011, at around 10:30 PM, witnesses observed the silent movement in the sky of several glowing yellow-orange balls. One of the witnesses took a video with their mobile phone.
After analysis of the video, it turns out that the glowing points move slightly relative to one another. The weather that day indicated a very light wind whose direction changed from hour to hour: it is not possible to verify whether the movement is consistent with the wind.
The general appearance of the video, the witnesses' account, the time and date (Saturday evening) favor the hypothesis of Thai lanterns. No search was made for a possible launch site: there are too many possibilities in the peri-urban area.
This case is therefore classified as "B": probable passage of Thai lanterns.
