A triangle shape in Meuse, France
On March 20, 2011, at around 8:30 PM, a female driver observes a light in the sky that intrigues and frightens her.
The object the witness observes turns out to finally always be in the same direction. Since it is very distant, it appears to follow the observer. The vertical movements are an illusion, because they are perceived relative to the horizon of the landscape, which is of course variable along the route.
The color change of a bright point on the horizon is due to atmospheric turbulence.
The direction indicated by the witness, to the left of her road direction E/NE, gives N/NE. In that part of the sky, the star Deneb was shining, one of the brightest stars in the sky (one of the 3 of the Summer Triangle).
This case is classified "A": Confusion with the star Deneb.
