Recent testimony (13/02/2011) of an old observation without a precise date. We arbitrarily date the observation to 1 August 2002.
At the beginning of August 2002 around 8:30 pm, a motorist observes in the sky the passage of an object flying slowly on a straight trajectory and in a south-easterly direction. The object has a cylindrical shape, a brown colour, moves without any noise while leaving a short trail behind it. He then takes a film photograph. The witness calls the gendarmerie stating that he saw "a rocket" going from the north-west to the south-east. It is when finding the photograph a few years later that the witness will send the questionnaire and two photographs to GEIPAN.
No other testimony has been collected on this phenomenon. The late testimony of this observation makes any investigation impossible to this day.
