Rumbling in Val-d'Oise, France
Recent testimony (31/07/2009) of an old observation (September 1990 or 1991, the witness no longer remembers exactly which date). A witness reports having observed at dusk the slow movement of a large circular object (between 20 and 40 meters) that emitted a regular rumbling sound. For 3 to 4 minutes, this person was able to see blinking lights of various colors on the edge of the object. It had a straight NE-SW trajectory at an altitude between 100 and 200 meters. The object disappeared without changing trajectory by blending into the sky. The witness later went to file a report at the local police station. No other testimony was collected on this phenomenon. The age of the observation makes any investigation difficult if not impossible. Following new correspondence from the witness (dated September 14, 2010), he specifies the observation date, which becomes September 1991 (no precision on the day), and includes documents on the trajectory taken by the object as well as a schematic representation he made of the observed object (see witness correspondence).
