Constant low frequency hum, like a genset or diesel electric train idling nearby. Ambient noise in the daytime seems to reduce the impact. First noticed in a very remote and quiet area away from industry. Now living in a small town and can often identify the source. i.e. Air conditioners, refrigeration units, street sweepers. I have become very sensitive to low frequency noise. Doof Doof music drives me to the edge.
