Low frequency drone First noticed with trucks testing ground for (what I understood to be) potential future fracking. The trucks would produce a very loud frequency sweep from low to high (until inaudible). This lasted about a week and was very distracting at night. Other people in my household and neighbours did not hear it and can not hear the low frequency sound I often hear at night.
What they reported
First noticed: 2015
Pitch: 42
Loudest: During the night
Where: Indoors
Symptoms: Ear discomfort (pain, fullness, throbbing), Headache, Insomnia, Anxiety
What stood out: a low hum
