low pulsating noise of varying lengths. May last 10 seconds or one second. The sound is always the same tone however. My husband & daughter don't hear the noise. I hear the noise at my parent's house and at work which is in the same town as my house and no one else hears it. A number of residents hear the noise and blame it on the oil being pumped through one of the 11 pipelines in our town. Someone I know in Port Huron Michigan the town just north of here also hears the noise yet she doesn't live near the pipelines. There are factories near her across the river in Canada. We also think it could be aliens contacting only the chosen ones (lol) since we can't figure out any other plausible explanation.
