Sounds exactly like there is a large truck idling down the street outside. but I can actually feel the noise vibrating and pulsing inside my eardrum. The way it goes in and out mimics the sounds that a truck engine makes because it's not one long consistent hum, it goes in and out. It makes me uneasy because it feels like there is activity in my quiet neighborhood that shouldn't be here at 4 AM. I often used to go out on the porch to check who is idling outside.
