On September 8, 1979, at around 4:30 a.m., two witnesses observed from their bedroom the passage of a circular object in the sky. It was moving at high speed while losing altitude. A glowing orange halo surrounded the object. Wanting to open the window, one of the witnesses received an electric shock. No other testimony was collected on this phenomenon, and the EDF power station reported no anomaly on its lines. These people probably witnessed an atmospheric reentry. The episode of the electric shock received by one of the witnesses, even though it happened at the time of the observation, cannot be directly linked to the type of phenomenon observed.
