both described an orange orb
Eure, France · 1978-04-02 · from the GEIPAN archive
On April 2, 1978 at around 11:35 PM, a motorist and his passenger saw a very strong yellow-orange glow. It appeared almost at ground level on the hill. After stopping his vehicle, the witness observed a large half-sphere, the other part being hidden by trees. It moved from north to south without any noise being heard. The observation lasted about 50 minutes in total before the object disappeared as its brightness faded. No other information was collected on this phenomenon.
