On April 2, 1978 at around 11:35 PM, a motorist and his passenger saw a very strong yellow-orange glow. It appeared almost at ground level on the hill. After stopping his vehicle, the witness observed a large half-sphere, the other part being hidden by trees. It moved from north to south without any noise being heard.
