Pilot witness in Cte-d'Or, France

On November 10, 1977 at 7:15 a.m., two people at their home noticed a stationary luminous point in the sky that intrigued them. Around 7:35 a.m., the object began to move, and the witnesses then observed an object of grayish color, oblong in shape, perfectly smooth, followed by a trail that quickly faded. The object's speed increased, and it quickly disappeared behind a hill around 7:40 a.m. No noise was heard during the entire observation. No particular observation was made at the air base control tower or at the Dijon-Longvic weather station, where visibility conditions at the time were fairly poor. An additional witness was found, but could not provide any important details about the observed phenomenon. Based on the serious description given by the main witness, these people probably observed a weather balloon.
