An orange orb in Loiret, France
The witness is in the company of around thirty dinner guests when at about 00:02 on Sunday, August 28, 2016, he spots in the sky an orange glow moving from South to North in absolute silence. After a few minutes, a second glow appears and follows the same path as the first. The same phenomenon repeats itself between 7 and 10 times, always with an identical appearance, with unchanging speed and altitude. A photograph is taken. Only one testimony is collected.
The whole thing is in every way consistent with an observation of a lantern release (see the investigation report:
