On October 5, 2014 at around 10:30 PM, three people observed the presence of a fire-red luminous object in the sky above the hamlet of Boissezon. The object remained stationary at first, then moved while rising and headed in the direction of Roquebrun. It was then lost from sight toward the SE. Two witnesses reported their observation in a police report. No other testimony was reported to the police or to the town hall. Given the objective elements collected in the investigation report (see attached document), namely: - the movement with the wind. - the color. - the luminosity. - the shape. - the duration of observation. We can conclude that the UAP observed by the witnesses is probably nothing more than a sky lantern, also called a "Thai lantern." This case is to be classified as "B" as a probable observation of a Thai lantern.
