Red lights in Paris, France

On Sunday, September 6, 2015 at around 11:30 PM, a witness hears the distinctive noise of a device that has been flying over her neighborhood at night for several months. At midnight the noise starts again, but the witness turns off the radio and lights and opens the window of her fourth-floor apartment: she then observes three fixed silver lights and one flashing red light. The object's trajectory is straight. It passes over the building across the street, then disappears, hidden by the urban landscape. The observation repeats at 12:11 AM and 12:35 AM. No other testimony will be collected. This observation presents no particular strangeness: - the witness herself states that the noise does not surprise her: "I recognize the noise of this device that has been flying over our neighborhood at night and irregularly for several months; I do not consider it necessary to get up from my chair." - the particular element that evening lies in the fact that the witness finally looked at the object causing the unremarkable noise, and she does not recognize this object as an airplane or helicopter, while specifying that she can only distinguish the lights and not the shape of the UAP. The latter passes several times over the building across the street, and there is every reason to think it is a helicopter, knowing that helicopters adopt variable night lighting depending on their type or the type of their mission. Furthermore, a noisy and particularly strange object passing and repassing over a Paris neighborhood around midnight in the summer period would have given rise to other testimonies. Consequently, GEIPAN classifies the case as B: probable observation of an aircraft.
