On Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 10:37 PM, a witness in a parking lot observed three red, very bright lights forming a triangle and flying at low altitude. The object came out from behind a forest, headed toward the witness's building, then made a 45-degree angle and disappeared from his field of vision. Only one testimony was collected. Given the elements collected (see the investigation report), namely: - the red color identical to that of lanterns. - the number corresponding to a "classic" group release of lanterns. - the simultaneous movement of the lanterns, carried by the wind and giving rise to an illusion of form psychology (movement in the direction of the prevailing wind). - the behavior identical to that of objects subjected to no or weak wind: moderate speed. - the absence of noise. - the short observation duration (10 to 15 seconds) compatible with the lifespan of the lanterns. - the presence nearby of facilities conducive to lantern launches, located in the direction of observation and not visible from the witness's position.
