Voices in C�tes-d'Armor, France

On Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:10 a.m., a witness, near a leisure park, is intrigued by something spinning in the sky. The UAP makes small circles in the manner of a bird circling around prey or a drone. But the object suddenly changes trajectory and heads northwest at a very steady speed and without noise. The object is then hidden by vegetation. Only one testimony is collected. This testimony reflects fairly little strangeness perceived by the witness because he has one or more possible explanations for his observation, a northern gannet... then a drone. Indeed, it could be either one or the other, although the (recreational) drone is a hypothesis more compatible with all phases of the observation. We are near a leisure park (Radôme park) in broad daylight around 10 a.m. on a Saturday. There are a priori many potential observers (the witness mentions other people present) of the phenomenon, whether outside the park and even more so inside the park. However, we have no other testimony. The most likely scenario is therefore that the witness witnessed something fairly unremarkable and that this unremarkable thing was a recreational drone (the witness's video shows nothing, but the audio indicates an exchange where one voice opposes the drone hypothesis with the argument of the non-visibility of the drone's pilot, an argument that another voice just contests). Consequently, GEIPAN classifies the case as B: probable observation of a drone.
