On Friday, May 15, 2015, at around 10 p.m., a motorist and his female passenger observed numerous passages of white glows with a slight trail behind them in the night sky. The observation lasted 7 minutes over 8 kilometers on country roads. Only one testimony about this phenomenon was collected.
This observation (improperly considered a fireball by the witness) takes place about one hour after sunset, in the last light of dusk, only 10 km from the Camargue ponds and their thousands of large birds: it is the end of the "evening passage" when the last birds leave the ponds and join their "roost" inland.
