Green light in Val-de-Marne, France
On April 22, 2015 at around 1:20/1:30 a.m., two people very briefly observe the passage in the clear sky of an object (triangular or round in shape) with three white LEDs and a green light in its center. No particular noise is heard. No trail or halo is seen. The object moves on a descending curve. Only one testimony is collected.
This observation of a triangle formed by 3 luminous points is atypical, but very brief: less than 3 seconds.
GEIPAN would have liked to conduct an on-site investigation for this case, but, since the witness is a minor, parental authorization is necessary; GEIPAN was unable to obtain it.
This case of a very brief observation, moreover through a window, turns out to be rather poor in reliable information.
GEIPAN put forward the hypotheses of a drone flight, or a reflection in the window glass of a light located in the room, carried by one of the witness's guests. Without an on-site investigation, the validity of these hypotheses could not be verified.
