Green light in Essonne, France

On December 27, 2009 at one in the morning, a witness observed from his window the rapid passage from south to northeast of an intense and continuous green light. No noise was noticed during the observation, which lasted a few seconds. This observation has all the characteristics of an atmospheric reentry of a meteoroid (meteorite), also called a bolide: straight-line crossing of the sky in a few seconds, green color. This event was not noted by the REFORME observer network. GEIPAN classifies this case "B": probable observation of atmospheric reentry of a meteoroid (meteorite fall).
