On August 17, 2014 at around 9:10 PM, a witness observes, through the open window, the rapid passage of a large fireball with a short yellow-white trail, very bright and very luminous. After a horizontal movement, the phenomenon disappears. The observation lasts only a few seconds. GEIPAN, located at CNES Toulouse, about 12 km from the witness, has a camera that is permanently ready to record this type of phenomenon.
