Green light in Pyrénées-Atlantiques, France
On March 10, 2014 between 7:30 PM and 7:45 PM, a motorist driving at 110 km/h on the A63 is intrigued by the movement of a tubular black object standing out against the blue of the sky. The unidentified aerial phenomenon has the proportions of a "fairly thick fountain pen." The witness observes a small green light under the object that seems to accompany it during its straight-line path. No particular noise is heard during the continuous observation of less than three seconds. The object left the witness's field of vision, hidden by landscape elements. The observation lasts 1 to 2 seconds. No other testimony has been reported. Given the elements collected in the file, namely:
- UAP moving against the direction of the prevailing wind.
- Appearance consistent with an airplane seen from the side.
- Presence of a steady green light inconsistent with the direction of travel of an airplane. We can only conclude that the UAP observed by the witness cannot be simply characterized.
