On Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 6:00 PM, several people are intrigued by the presence in the sky of a sort of fireball in the sky, followed by oblique trails of the same color (flaming orange). The witness films the scene. Only one testimony will be collected. The observation of bright orange trails in the sunset sky clearly evokes the contrails of distant airplanes illuminated by the sun already below the horizon. The video confirms this hypothesis, as does the "Casperflights" record of airliners, very numerous in this area at that time (Northern Europe / Spain-Portugal-Morocco traffic). The first video (descending vertical trail) corresponds to a plane moving away from the witnesses, while the other horizontal trails correspond to planes traveling from North to South, about fifty km West of Pau.
