Rumbling in Puy-de-D�me, France
On January 24, 2008 at 1:15 a.m., a witness observes at high altitude a white light that traces two circles in the clear sky and then disappears. During the observation, a loud rumbling noise is heard.
The description given by the witness of course suggests an airplane. The movement of the luminous point is nonetheless surprising. But the witness is at the edge of a military air training zone (see attached map, taken from the "very low altitude defense network map" RTBA): a military aircraft could very well behave this way during a maneuver.
