Dordogne, France · 1981-08-03 · from the GEIPAN archive
On August 3, 1981 at around 10:45 p.m., several people saw an object zigzagging at very high altitude. The trajectory was east-west and it was moving at very high speed. The luminous object emitted flashing white and red lights. No noise was heard during the observation, which lasted less than five minutes. No explanation for this phenomenon could be given due to a lack of data.
