It sounds like a compressor or pump to me. It's always the same rhythm. The sound stays in the same tone range about 90-95 % and then changes to a lower tone range. The hum always consists of just two tones. I am a synesthesist (Is that the right word?). Synesthesia accomponies me my whole life. My hearing is extremely good (most of the time too good) but I am listening and being sensitive to so many sounds that I am not possible to say from which direction the sound comes. I am also able to so dowsing. I react over my body to so many situations I can't explain why in that moment. But I always listen to that feeling. Now I sound being weird.... Sorry! Thank you for this site!
