A low pulsing drone like a large Diesel engine far away My wife doesnt hear it when I do. When I go outside to locate it, its quieter or undetectable . However Im certain its not from mechanical equipment in the house. Inside, it sounds like its outside. Its like a harmonic or a resonance through the earth.
