A low hum in United States of America, Plymouth

It is a very deep, soft, constant hum, like an idling truck parked a few doors down. I cannot pinpoint its source. I have asked my housemates, but they don't hear it. I have walked all around the house inside and around the neighborhood, but never found the source.

What they reported

First noticed: 2020

Pitch: The closest i could come on the generator was 40 hrtz sine. However, this is not a deep enough sound!

Loudest: During the night

Where: Indoors

Symptoms: Insomnia, Anxiety, Irritation and frustration

Changes with weather: Hmmm. That is hard to say. I do not tend to notice it unless the wind is calm.

What stood out: a low hum
