A low hum in Vallejo, California above the 80 freeway.

Low cycling hum like a diesel engine parked in front of my house. I'd love some answers. I just want to hear the birds and not the relentless droning...I see others near my place are experiencing this. I live by electric towers, above the Napa River, and between two freeways. The house is on one of Vallejo's many hills, and very near a mining operation, and two major refineries. Sometimes the drone is low and slow and sometimes, like at present, it's revved up. Almost like a diesel turbine.

Low frequency hum, always same frequency, I'd estimate around 50hz (at least my perception). I only hear it at/in my home, if I'm at another location, I don't think I've ever heard of it.

Very low-pitched continuous drone. Pitch rises and falls slightly but can remain steady at times. Inaudible to my wife. Reminiscent of the hum from a large transformer/sub station but there

Low, soft rumble - as if a large truck were idling in the distance - it varies, but not rhythmically - I can almost "feel" the vibrations. Most predominantly at night, in the bedroom on the

Low hum, sometimes pulsating, sometimes not. It is very loud. It sounds like a propeller airplane way off in the distance, but it doesnt go away. Or an 18-wheeler on a busy freeway,
