Low, bass like humming noise, like a muffled bathroom fan, pulsating. It's a really bizarre experience, it feels like more than just something I'm hearing, it's almost as though there are vibrations in the room. The bedside light flickers ever so slightly also - this is an old cottage, so that could be just the connection. When I first heard the humming I was surprised that my partner couldn't hear it too - I went searching for the source and realised that absolutely nothing was turned on in the house. I think that my partner thought I had lost my marbles! I initially thought it might be something to do with the seaside location - some weird auditory phenomenon, but now I'm really keen to understand what it is!
