Low hum almost like a distant tug boat horn going off repeatedly My wife also heard it and it scared my 6 month old puppy who would not stop pacing back and forth until the humming stopped. He eventually layed down after it stopped but would not sleep. My wife and I could not fall back asleep even once the hum stopped.
