A low hum in Canada, British Columbia
Low level, pulsating hum that mimics an engine droning in the distance. A few random points regarding my situation: I live in a rural village in southeastern British Columbia; there is a year-round creek which runs close to our house; there are trains (coal) which run regularly through our village; there is a secondary highway located 200 yards from the front of our house which is situated slightly above the height of our roof; we live in a log home which has a steep metal roof (12 pitch) with large, deep overhangs at the front and back which likely "capture" ambient external noises which other house types might not amplify; and finally, the ticking of a clock is the only external noise I am able to hear simultaneously with the Hum.

Symptoms: Sense of vibration, If the Hum was louder, I beieve I would begin to experience other symptoms listed. Unrelenting curiosity is my biggest symptom right now. I find it extremel hard to believe that this convincing sound of something far away could actually be originating from inside my head.
Changes with weather: I will need to report back on this. I just started hearing the Hum in May 2019.
