On April 29, 1978, while traveling in the Verdun region, a motorist and his passengers spotted a white glow in the sky around 2:30 a.m. that intrigued them. A large triangular luminous phenomenon, red-orange in color, then appeared, motionless in the sky. Stopping their vehicle, no sound was heard during the observation.
