Recent testimony (18/12/2015) of an old observation made on 12 September 2014 between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. That morning, the witness's attention was drawn to a luminous point making circles in the sky before disappearing in a straight line into a cloud. The object was oval in shape, grey-white in color. The witness had time to photograph the UAP. No other testimony was collected. Analysis of the photos shows a luminous shape preceding a slight white trail: the hypothesis of observing an airplane was favored, with the following elements: - at sunrise, as well as at sunset, airplanes are lit from the side: the wing surfaces are in shadow, less bright than the background of the blue sky, and are therefore invisible. It also happens that the sun reflects brightly off part of the fuselage or the windows, creating a very bright point. The resulting shape, visible to the eye or in photos, can then become a cigar, an oval, a trapezoid. - the white trail is characteristic of an airplane. Note that the movements described by the witness are surprising for an airplane. GEIPAN classifies this case "B": probable observation and photograph of an airplane at sunrise. N.B.: the witness states that he took the photos around 6 a.m. on 12/9/2014. The time noted in the photo is 8:16 p.m.: the witness will specify that his camera was not set to the correct time, and that it may have been a little later. Given the brightness of the sky, it must have been around 6:50 a.m.
