An account in Morbihan, France

Recent testimony from March 2015 about an old observation (July 1985). On July 22, 1985 at around 2:30 p.m., a motorist and his passengers are surprised to see appearing at very low altitude and very slowly the front fuselage of a craft and behind a window two individuals. Stopping his vehicle, the motorist leans over to observe more but everything has disappeared. No other testimony was collected. This very strange observation report from 1985, since it describes unknown beings, was only submitted to GEIPAN in March 2015, that is to say nearly 30 years after the facts. As with all cases of this kind, GEIPAN submitted the observation account to a university cognitive psychology laboratory to assess the component of false memories in the account. The report from this laboratory is available attached. It appears that the strangest elements of the testimony are suspected of being false memories; nevertheless, the witness certainly saw an unusual flying object (large solar balloon, or low-altitude aircraft). Due to this testimony disturbed by false memories, and the lack of corroboration, GEIPAN classifies this case "C" due to lack of reliable information.
