On October 5, 2012 at 11:26 PM, a witness observed for one minute in the sky the silent movement of a luminous orange object of oval shape with wings on each side. No other testimony was collected. Given the elements collected during the investigation, namely: - No information on the "exact" azimuth of appearance and disappearance. - No information either on the angular heights of appearance and disappearance. - Absence of angular measurements. - No further details on estimates of the object's altitude, distance, and size. We can conclude that the lack of precision does not allow ruling in favor of any hypothesis. This case is to be classified as "C" as an observation of an unidentifiable phenomenon as it stands, the lack of elements not allowing a solid opinion to be established. This testimony is of low consistency: imprecise and lacking detail, and also missing crucial and necessary data for the rest of the study. Single eyewitness and no photo or video documents. The observation is not very strange because it could be a completely ordinary object (e.g., a night bird lit by urban lighting, for example, or a military aircraft with lights off), and for this reason the GEIPAN did not deem a field investigation necessary to enrich the file.
