Red lights in Charente-Maritime, France
On April 12, 2012 at around 9:40 PM, a witness's attention was drawn by a fairly strong red glow suddenly appearing behind the windowpanes of his first-floor window. The observation lasted several minutes before the light changed color and intensity, then diminished and disappeared. No other testimony was collected.
Of low to medium strangeness, and of the same level of consistency, this observation case remains difficult to conclude: a seemingly fixed point of light, bright orange-red in color and turning white as it faded, suggests an airplane seen head-on, but not with certainty in the absence of air traffic data.
