On August 8, 2009, at around 11:00 PM to 11:30 PM, a female driver observed for 2 or 3 seconds an object shaped like a disc but slightly oval and silver in color above a wind turbine. Her passenger did not have time to see the phenomenon, as it disappeared very quickly. This case, submitted late for analysis by the college of experts who work with GEIPAN, was subjected to a non-conclusive IPN preliminary investigation. The strong emotional state of the main witness should be noted. The analysis shows that the size of the UAP observed at 4° corresponds to the size of a possible reflection of the Moon on the blade of the wind turbine (a reflection mentioned by the main witness). Apart from this plausible hypothesis, the observation presents a low degree of strangeness and was observed by only a single witness from inside an automobile. The second witness did not make a direct observation. The case is classified "C" as an unexplained case of low consistency without any character of strangeness.
