An account in Moselle, France

On August 3, 2009, a witness contacts GEIPAN about an old observation made on June 3, 2008 at 9 p.m. From the balcony of the third floor, the witness observed the successive presence of three objects shaped like a rugby ball and colored brown and faded yellow. The objects moved in a straight-line trajectory, two of them in the same direction. No noise was heard during the observation, which lasted about ten seconds: the phenomenon left the field of observation, hidden by clouds. In the end, this observation of ovoid objects appears to be of low to medium strangeness, with a fairly likely hypothesis of observing airplanes perceived with a particular shape and brightness due to a time close to sunset (14 minutes later). The investigation, being too late, did not allow this hypothesis to be confirmed, so this case is classified as "C" due to lack of information on aircraft flights at that time.
