An account in Corse-du-Sud, France

On July 18, 2007 at around 4:45 in the morning, a witness observed from his terrace a luminous phenomenon that intrigued him. A light moved while approaching, then changed direction and disappeared. No noise was heard by the witness during the observation. The data on the observation location provided by the witness do not allow defining a precise point but rather a zone (based on the distances to the neighboring villages estimated by the witness). The observation of a growing light arriving toward the witness corresponds well to the headlight of an airplane approaching Figari airport. The absence of noise is due to the wind direction, coming from the East-Northeast, behind the witness.
