On July 5, 2002 between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., numerous witnesses observed several white lights aligned and moving together. The phenomenon was observed in several departments covering Vaucluse and Bouches-du-Rhône.
Depending on the testimonies, the lights numbered 6 or 8, aligned, in a circle, or in the shape of 2 triangles, but all agree that the movement was uniform for all the lights. Depending on the case, the observation lasted from a few minutes to an hour.
