Red lights in Allier, France
On April 30, 1990 at around 10:30 PM, an observation was made in the Orléans region by 3 independent witnesses of a red light with an apparent size equal to that of the moon. The phenomenon moved at an angle toward the ground without making any noise. One witness reported that his dogs were particularly agitated. The phenomenon lasted a few seconds. The description given by the witnesses could suggest an atmospheric reentry, but it could not be identified.
