An account in Ain, France

A witness reported in June 2009 two old observations. On December 13, 1972 at around 11:45 PM, two people in a car were surprised to see a round and luminous object appear in the sky above Hauteville. The phenomenon, white-yellow with a bluish tint, moved in a straight line and at very high speed in a south-to-north direction. It disappeared behind the horizon. No particular noise was heard by the witnesses during the brief observation. No other testimony was collected. This case is moderately strange due to its speed and its "phosphorescent" type luminosity, but the consistency of the testimony and the lack of corroboration do not allow a conclusion. This case is classified C for lack of independent testimonies and corroboration. The second observation, during the night of August 23 to 24, 1985, of a luminous flash in a boat shape probably corresponds to a bolide, which would lead to a classification B for this single observation.
