Blue light in Côtes-d'Armor, France

Around 5 a.m. on February 5, 1984, several people saw, in the pitch-black night, a rectangular object emitting an intense pale blue glow that allowed them to see as if in broad daylight. This object moved silently from north to south and at very high speed. The observation lasted between 5 and 8 seconds: the phenomenon disappeared at the horizon. The witnesses' descriptions suggest the probable observation of an atmospheric re-entry.

What stood out: blue light
